Determination of haemoglobin concentration. Blood is taken according to standard laboratory technique. Depending on method, used for hemoglobin concentration measuring, there are different ways of preparing test blood solutions. MiniHem-540 allows to use hemiglobincyanide, hemichrome, and others methods, involving light of spectral range with absorption maximum near 540 nm. For each method used, user is to set "optical density-concentration" ratio with the aid of special button. In MiniHEM 523 photometry is performed on wavelength of 523 nm. Transforming reagent is 0,04% ammonia solution. Probe preparation takes about 1 sec. Photometry of a probe takes 1 second. The result, expressed in gram/litres, is displayed on LCD.
